Post Processing

After you have sent your messages, you can get detailed log information in the log window below your message body. Right-clicking there, you can save the log information in useful formats. You can also process the log files directly, producing a list of email addresses that match whatever criteria you would like.

You can use the resulting list as an "exclusion" list or an "inclusion" list in subsequent mailings - An exclusion list is a list of all emails that you want to make sure and avoid sending to. If you use one, you will never send to an email on that list. An inclusion list, on the other hand, should include only the emails you want to send to. If an email is not on that list, it will not be sent, even if it is in your database.

This makes your mailing safe - if something does go wrong, you can easily do it again without having to worry about sending someone the same message twice.

In your log file, a result code indicates what happened to each message. Here are the result codes:

Code Description
0 Successfully Sent
1 Did not match filter
2 Bad email address
3 Not all attachments found
4 Parsing the scripting language failed
5 Connection to External SMTP failed
6 Transmission of message to external SMTP failed
7 Transmission to Internal Server failed
