Integrated Database Support
Mach5 Mailer Gold supports a wide variety of data sources that can be accessed through a standard database connection system called ODBC. For those that cannot be accessed through ODBC, it is often not difficult to export a database as a text file, which of course Mailer can use.
The Gold and Regular versions of Mailer can also access Excel and Access data sources directly, while the Free version features only direct Excel support.
If you are just now starting out with a database and are not very familiar with database programs, we recommend using Excel as your data source format.
In all cases, if your database is not supported directly or you can't get ODBC to work, you can export your database to a tab delimited text file, and use that as a data source for Mailer.
