Site Stickiness - Average Stay Length per Referrer

Which campaigns and partners bring you truly interested visitors?

This report shows you which web pages sent you interested visitors. An "interested visitor" will spend a lot of time on your web site, while an uninterested visitor will spend a short amount of time. A referring web page is a web page that a user visited just before their clicked on your web site; these web pages can be advertising partners or simply web pages with links to your site. Web pages that send interested visitors your way are more valuable partners than web pages that send uninterested visitors; there is little value in users spending a short amount of time on your web site.

This report is similar to the "Average Stay Length per Referring Domain" report, only it breaks down the statistics by individual pages instead of by entire referral site. Like the "Average Stay Length per Referring Domain" report, this report is useful for determining the efficacy of advertisements and partnerships.

Is an affiliate program paying off?

If you have an affiliate with a promotion page, find that page in this report. You not only see how many sessions came from that affiliate's page, but you can also see whether the visitors the affiliate sent you were "interested visitors".

Is an ad campaign bringing good prospects?

If so, then those prospects will be interested in reviewing your site carefully before making a purchase decision. They will spend time on your web site reading about what you have to offer and will view many pages. Advertising campaigns that send uninterested visitors your way are of little value.
